I enjoy Jack in the Box for fast food -- their Ultimate Cheeseburger with no sauce and no bun is great for someone on a low-carb diet -- but I try to avoid this location. Long wait times in the drive-through, order mistakes, and discourteous staff have turned me off.

I grew up with this library and it's done nothing but get better over the years. As a child, I loved visiting their programs each week and picking out books to devour at home. As an adult, I appreciate their electronic services and stylish remodeled look. Oh, and picking out books to devour at home, of course. Some things don't change.

I switched to BECU about a year and a half ago and it has been great! My experiences with this branch have been similarly positive. The location has easy parking nearby, the staff are friendly and helpful, and I've never had to wait particularly long. I am glad I made the change and glad I have the Redmond branch so close by.

Thrive is great! Constantly friendly staff, well-kept equipment, and an overall friendly vibe. One of my favorite things about Thrive is that a few years ago they offered use of their washing machines to families without power in the wake of a major storm. Go Thrive!

I find that there's nothing quite like time spent browsing through books, looking about and dreaming of what to read next. Half Price Books is a great place to do this. They have a huge selection of books, games, music, movies, etc. and decent prices. There's also convenient public parking nearby. Space can be a tight when moving around and the upper floor is particularly creaky, which can feel alarming. If you love books, make sure to visit!

Niko Teriyaki was an enjoyable, if not particularly memorable, teriyaki experience. The food was fine and sold at an acceptable price. The interior was sparse - it felt like a nondescript drugstore. If you're in Redmond on a Sunday and looking for teriyaki, your options are limited -- Niko Teriyaki is worth considering.
