Operations Tech: Supervision of daily routine of treatment unit and staff as outlined per new behavioral management program. Implement decisions made by treatment/clinical teams which promote growth, personal responsibilities; while holding residents accountable through natural and logical consequences. Provide therapeutic crisis support when needed. All other duties assigned.
Residential Tech: Promote and teach pro-social behaviors among residents by utilizing the behavioral management program. Facilitated social growth of residents through the use of natural and logical consequences in daily routine. Completed daily documentation of resident’s progress on treatment goals.
Primary Houseparent, 2006 - 2009
Primary House Parent: Promoted independent living skills of residents in a 6 bed Level I community-based residential group home for adolescent boys. Participated in the assessment process of incoming residents. Administered medications and ensured that medical needs of residents were met according to agency/state guidelines. All other duties assigned.

IL Specialist, House Supervisor, Campus Supervisor, 2004 - 2006
Independent Living Specialist (Brumit Center): Prepared adolescent boys/girls for independent living in a 12 bed community based preparation for adult living residential program. Taught residents independent living skills such as food shopping, meal preparation, money management, education and employment. Administered medications per state and agency guidelines and monitored residents medical needs.
Campus Supervisor (Wiley Center): Provided guidance and support to Teacher Counselors. Responsible for ensuring the safety of both residents and Teacher Counselors in 6 buildings; approximately 30-50 residents at any given time. Oversaw and responded to crisis situations between Wiley Center and Brumit Center. All other duties assigned.
House Supervisor (Boys Group Home): Responsible for adolescent boys and Teacher Counselors of an 8 bed community-based residential home. Provided guidance and support to Teacher Counselors. Active in treatment team/assessment meetings. Implemented decisions made in team meeting, which promoted growth and personal responsibility. Responded to and provided therapeutic crisis support when needed. All other duties assigned.
Teacher Counselor (Wiley Center): Responsible for maintaining a safe and caring environment for youth while challenging issues such as alcohol and drugs which precipitated their placement. Reported to the on campus shift supervisor. Administered medication to residents. Provided crisis intervention. All other duties assigned.
Grandfather Home for Children
C/YCW II, 1999 - 2003
Child Youth Care Worker II: Responsible for maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu for angry, hurting youth while challenging values that have precipitated the behavioral dysfunction of abused and neglected children & youth in a residential treatment setting.
Activities Coordinator: Planned therapeutic outings in accordance with agency guidelines. Proposed and prepared therapeutic outings for submission to treatment team staff for approval.
Business Manager: Secured funding for therapeutic outings and supplies needed for treatment units. Ensured proper ratio and medications for residents on approved outings. Submitted and maintained monthly budget reports to the Executive Director. Recorded all unit expenditures as well as documentation on resident funds.
Family Group Coordinator: Assisted in the planning of monthly Multi-Family Clarification group meetings for treatment unit. Reserved adequate housing, meals, and transportation for families to and from monthly Multi-Family Clarification group meetings.
Formal Group Leader: Provided a safe and caring atmosphere which allowed residents the opportunity to express day-to-day issues; while utilizing the Positive Peer Culture model. Facilitated a process where residents would provide helpful feedback to one another.
