Our technology helps Airlander 10 reach another milestone!

It's all over the press, and deservedly so; the Airlander 10 is now out of the Cardington Sheds and another step closer to it's first flight.

We'll be watching closely over the coming days and wish the team well!

AVoptics' RTMs (representative test modules) are designed to obtain accurate and representative test measurements on harnesses, perfectly simulating aircraft/vehicle/equipment installation and connectivity.

We have configured and supplied our RTMs to major OEMs and they are currently used on many aerospace and defence platforms. AVoptics also use them for our own in-house testing of optical harnesses.

Major benefits over simple point-to-point testing or termini testing include:-

*Accuracy due to like-for-like mating forces
*Simulating blind-mate conditions
*Repeatability eliminating rotational loss errors
*Damage to harness minimised
*Faster harness testing
*Common test lead interfaces can be chosen to reduce interface issues

If you'd like to learn more about this, or any other of our products or services, please get in touch with us on here or via our webpage.
