"Life is a constant Advent season: we are continually waiting to become, to discover, to complete, to fulfill. Hope, struggle, fear, expectation and fulfillment are all part of our Advent experience. It is the beautiful task of Advent to awaken in all of us memories of goodness and thus to open doors of hope."
"Love, Peace, Hope & Joy are the true gifts of Christmas, not only the expensive gifts. We can communicate this joy simply: with a smile, a kind gesture - the joy we give will certainly come back to us. Take time to be aware that in the very midst of our busy preparations for the celebration of Christ’s birth in ancient Bethlehem, Christ is reborn in the Bethlehem of our homes and daily lives. We invite family, friends and well-wishers to come, not only to support us financially, but visit our Community - share & spread the Christmas cheer, spend time & build relationships, carolling, journeying together, and introducing fresh hope.
There has been a small change in our website domain ie .org to .ngo: www.athmashaktividyalayasociety.ngo. This year’s World Mental Health Day, 10th October 2015 is themed ‘Dignity in Mental Health’.  “One's dignity may be assaulted, vandalized and cruelly mocked, but it can never be taken away unless it is surrendered.”  However, today ASV celebrates World Mental Health Day, focusing on ‘Mindfulness” and the benefits of being mindful. Mindfulness is a state of active, open attention on the present. When you're mindful, you observe your thoughts and feelings from a distance, without judging them, good or bad. Instead of letting your life pass you by, mindfulness means living in the moment and awakening to experience. To show your support, one simple & effective way is by showcasing this badge (image below) as your profile picture for a day. Join us in this movement. We would also like to share a short video on “Mindfulness” created by ASV. Link : https://youtu.be/xe0zRZ05Nzw. Thanks for your support.
