Although NVIDIA is found in more places due to terrible or nonexistent AMD driver support on the primary operating system that these computers run: Linux. Catalyst outright sucks and the open source drivers have nonexistent support for OpenCL.

+Sean Rhone I've an A8-7600 that works pretty well, using the open source drivers. Even though it's 3.1 GHz with a 45W TDP, individual core performance is the same as my overclocked 4GHz FX-8120. Open source drivers have great VDPAU/VAAPI hardware decoding, albeit, since it's not Carrizo, there is no support for HEVC hardware decoding.
