I see a man crying in the street. Me and my friends stop and ask if he is ok. He cries more and says a story about the ATM taking his Canadian bank card and he has nowhere to go. We try to help. My friend offers to take him to his place for the night as it rains. The mas kindly refuses as he doesn't want to intrude. I gave him all cash I had. My friend gives him some money and we head to the train station feeling so sad for the man with a broken leg and tears in his eyes...A minute later we find out he has a story every night.... such a life, such a story...

Elections are coming to UK so the face of English comes out. There is a show called Romanians are coming - it is about gypsies and not Romanians. I was angry and felt offended so I wrote a comment, a long one. I will post it and after I will post the reply I got:
This TV show is not at all well documented, funny or good. It has the worst journalistic quality I have ever seen. I was a TV producer for 11 years and all I can say is offensive, brutal, racist. For a start just call it Gypsies are coming and not Romanians. Every country has their gypsies. Shall I start saying about the English ones? They are caught steeling from shops on daily basis, they do not pay taxes and so on. Are you proud of them? I guess so as long as there are shows that promote such a behavior (My big fat gypsy wedding). This is the standard that you are raising your kids. This is what they are growing up with. Romanians don't come to UK for benefits. They work hard and pay taxes for the English who live on benefits (just watch the shows on TV - heroin addicts who spend their benefit money for drugs, women who ask for benefits because they get the same £1400/month from the Government instead of working, alcoholics who spend Governments money and houses instead of looking for a job. They just know how to blame immigrants for not having a job). All I can say is that I am angry. Why? I am myself an immigrant. I live in London for a few years, pay taxes and work hard just like all Romanians I know.
See what is in front of you, judge first your nation before judging others. You teach your kids to grow up full of anger, with low standards and racists. How about taking care of them? How about trying to lower the number of teenage mothers? How about teaching them morals?
Do not show low life gypsies in your shows and strongly say they are Romanians. Gypsies are not a category of people well seen in Romania.
We have the right to work and this is what we do. WORK. We don't come here for benefits. What would this country be without the hard working immigrants? Your country was built with immigrants. Maybe you need to remember this.
Please, I ask you from the bottom of my heart: send all bad people back where they belong. No matter if they are from Romania or other country. If they are not working, paying taxes and respect standards just send them home. Is it hard? Too much paperwork? Romanian community can help you. All criminals should pay for their actions no matter the nationality or status. I strongly agree. Just be a fair country with fair people. What you are doing is first of all degrading yourselves, showing low standards and reminding everyone how judgmental and racist you can be

I'm back...
It's been almost two years since my last post. I can't even believe it. Today I am 3 years old! I celebrate the day I moved to London. Everything has changed since. Including myself. I am older of course and wiser I like to think but apart from the obvious there had been so many other ...
