Tinder files legal objection against one-man dating app:

Tinder has filed a legal objection to a dating platform created by one lone British man, upon which he is actually the only male date.

The app, Shinder, was created by Shed Simov, to find himself a partner.

Things took a sour note for Shed when he attempted to trademark it, as a Notice of Threatened Opposition was filed to the Intellectual Property Office by dating colossus, Tinder...

In January, it was reported that a phishing scam was putting Netflix users' credit card and personal information at risk.

Social media giants face big #hatespeech & #fakenews fines in #Germany:

German ministers have agreed upon plans that will result in fining social media companies up to 50m euros (£42.7m) if they don’t remove hate speech and fake news promptly.

The suggested law would give the firms just 24 hours to block all blatantly criminal content after being reported, with an allowance of 7 days for other offensive material.
