We’ve been working on the final mixes for Spring of Fire this last month and it has been amazing to work with all the violin recordings. It’s really opened my eyes even more with how dynamic and varying the instrument is.

We have nine violinists playing on the album and each one of them produces a very distinctive tone. The violin itself, the player, the strings, the bow, humidity, so many things that give each player their unique sound.

When you listen to the album you’ll get to hear very clearly how each song changes, almost in language, it's very cool!

For the life of me, I don't know how people actually play the violin though. It's a ridiculous hard instrument to master. But it's fun to watch pros play it, and especially fun getting to play with them!

Wow, it wasn't even close. Idea #6 for our Spring of Fire album cover was the clear favorite between Facebook, Instagram, and friends & family.

We loved the idea to include violinist silhouettes representing the nine guest violinists appearing on the album. It even matches with there being seven women and two men.

Spring of Fire will be submitted for distribution in the middle of July, or before if we can finish all the mixes! We'll be shipping physical CDs to everyone on PledgeMusic (http://92keys.io/spring-of-fire) around the second week of August. They get it early for being awesome supporters of 92 Keys! :D

And it will be available worldwide on September 4!

Great news! Touring violinist for the Eagles, Broadway actress, and singer, Erica Swindell, will be joining the fun on 92 Keys' upcoming album "Spring of Fire". We are pairing an awesome rock violinist with a rockin' rock song on the album. Makes sense, right? Erica will be recording the violin layers for our 'buckle your seat-belt' arrangement of Queen's great song - Somebody to Love. Can't wait!

As an actor, Erica appeared in the cast of the Tony Award-winning musical ONCE both on Broadway at the Jacobs Theatre and in the First National Tour performing on stages throughout the U.S., and internationally in Japan and Canada. She holds a BFA in Acting with a minor in musical theatre from Marymount Manhattan College and studied at the British American Drama Academy.

Erica has performed in some of the most storied venues in the U.S. such as The Forum, The Grand Ole Opry, The Ryman Auditorium, The Beacon, and Austin City Limits Live. She has performed internationally in stadiums, arenas and concert halls in Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Canada, and recently at Hyde Park in the U.K. with Don Henley and Carole King.

Her violin can be heard on the American Authors Platinum album Oh, What a Life and she has performed live with Ashley Monroe, Jamey Johnson, Lyle Lovett, Clint Black, Vince Gill, Jackson Browne, Stevie Nicks, Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, Martie Maguire, and Emily Robison. As half of the new Americana duo The Longest Year, Erica is currently writing and recording a self-titled EP with L.A. based singer-songwriter Brendan Willing James. Her love of performance is such that some nights, between shows and tours, you'll find her jamming at an Irish circle, making music with friends, or busking at a local subway stop.

If you haven't figured it out yet, we are completely stacking our upcoming "Spring of Fire" album with a level of talent and skill that is quite frankly, intimidating. And this next violinist announcement is absolutely no exception. In the world of Classical music, Chloé Trevor just completely tears it up on the violin in front of audiences worldwide, including with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Latvian Chamber Orchestra, Slovak State Philharmonic, Plano Symphony and the Knoxville Symphony. And way more than can be listed!

Chloé will be recording and performing a 92 Keys arrangement of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep". It's blood pumping!

Chloé was the Grand Prize winner at the 2006 Lynn Harrell Competition, the 2005 Lennox Competition, the 2003 Dallas Symphonic Festival Competition and the 2000 Collin County Young Artists Competition. She has been a featured violinist in the Music in the Mountains Festival in Colorado, at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas and with the Missouri Symphony Orchestra. At age thirteen she appeared on the nationally syndicated radio program From the Top.

Dedicated to music education and outreach, Chloé regularly connects with students and teachers through interactive performances, master classes, and lectures, both in person and online. With an extensive and ever-growing following via social media, Chloé enjoys spreading her message of positivity and encouragement to hundreds of thousands of people on a daily basis in order to influence present and future generations of classical musicians.

We are thrilled to welcome Russian violinist Anastasiia Mazurok as part of the premier lineup of violinists appearing on 92 Keys' first full-length album "Spring of Fire" (due out Summer 2018)! https://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/springoffire

Anastasiia will be performing a fiery arrangement of "Ode to Joy" created by 92 Keys. Can't wait for this one!

At the age of 7, Anastasiia began the journey of learning and developing her skills as a violinist. She has performed in and won many competitions such as the V Moscow International festival of Slavic music, the Georgy Sviridov International competition for youth, and the XI International Balys Dvarionas competition for Young Pianists and Violinists (EMCY) in Vilnius.

Since coming to the U.S. to continue her music education in Philadelphia, Anastasiia has performed in a recital with multi-Grammy award nominee Lambert Orkis in 2016 and in 2017 she was chosen as a recipient of the Emerging Artists and performed Mendelssohn concerto at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia.

Wow!

And as an update regarding the album, we have recorded nearly half of the album with more recordings being done this week and next. When all the recordings are finished we will begin the final step towards completion which is the mixing and mastering phase. If all goes well we will begin that at the end of April.

In another big win for our upcoming album "Spring of Fire", we get Rob Landes! Rob will be performing/recording a really awesome 92 Keys arrangement of "I See Fire", originally written by Ed Sheeran for The Hobbit.

With a Master's in Music from the prestigious Rice University under his belt, Rob has gone on to become a premier entertainer and performer both on tours internationally and on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/roblandes).

While studying at Rice, Rob began covering rock and pop music, and upon returning to Salt Lake City after graduation, began playing with a loop pedal which he uses to create intricate and stunning arrangements of popular music. Since then, he has won numerous awards for his arrangements, performed at New York Fashion Week, the Sundance Film Festival, toured internationally, and has garnered over 35 million views on his YouTube channel.

"I See Fire" is going to sound amazing with Rob's unique sound!

Continuing with a line-up of amazing musicians appearing on "Spring of Fire" by 92 Keys, we have Jennifer Thomas! Jennifer is not just a brilliant player of both the piano and the violin but also an epic cinematic composer and has won multiple awards for her compositions. But listen for yourself and be amazed by the quality, here is her Pandora station - https://www.pandora.com/artist/jennifer-thomas/AR7qfrxJ3Jzhcz9

Jennifer will be recording the violin layers for the song "Life and Death" which was originally written for the TV show Lost.

All of the arrangements and new music for "Spring of Fire" are complete and we have begun recording sessions with some of the violinists with more to follow in March and April. The piano layers, all recorded and written by Trevor Loucks, are also finished. And orchestration and sound design are close to being finished, done by Stephen Anderson. Once all the violinists, recording at studios around the U.S., have finished tracking their respective songs we will begin mixing and mastering, then after that, we can submit the album for distribution! Can't wait! #violin #piano

Have you ever been to a Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, Disturbed, Sarah McLachlan, Starset, Ricky Martin, or Earth Wind & Fire show and been completely mesmerized by the violinist on stage? There is a high chance, if you've been to any of those shows, it was Siobhán Cronin you were watching, adding to the high-energy of these amazing live touring acts. How cool would that be?

So it's very exciting for us to be able to welcome Siobhán as a guest violinist on 92 Keys' upcoming album "Spring of Fire"! Siobhán will be contributing the violin layers to a really fun Disney piece we've put together, adding to the energetic repertoire of new music we can't wait to release!
