You'll see the unique exterior of the WTC Transit Hub, "Oculus", which was planned to be open by now, along the tour near Ground Zero. Its opening but has been "delayed in part because of a persistent water leak." When it opens, it will be a four-block-long interconnected network with commercial tenants such as Apple, Daniel Boulud, Eataly, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, John Varvatos.

Our tour walks by O'Hara's Restaurant and Pub on Cedar Street. "O’Hara’s was transformed on Sept. 11, when its windows were blown in as the buildings collapsed. After it reopened seven months later, it became a destination for the workers at ground zero... “This is the place I’ve always come to,” he said. It used to be about convenience, but now it’s something else."
