First, I would like to say that 808 Berry is a wonderful, friendly community with amazing amenities that provides a true sense of home for me. I recently moved in, and from what I can tell, the entire staff makes it their top priority to ensure that each new and current resident is completely happy with their home. Furthermore, 808 is in a prime location and great neighborhood with various shops, restaurants and coffee shops within minutes of walking. I look forward to staying here for many years to come.

Lived here for about 9 months and I really enjoyed my time here. No major complaints. There may be a little noise on weekend but that's the norm everywhere. Management was always nice and fast to respond. I felt secure living here as I worked all hours of the night. Loved the underground parking garage. Nice neighborhood, close to everything! I plan on moving back here if they have any openings.

This place has bad reviews because only bitter people come on here to post. I'm posting because I love this place and think it needs some better reviews. It's very nice and we've had no problems. It's extremely close to Minneapolis, St Paul, and many major roads (and soon also the light rail). It's in a perfect spot.

Ive been living here for 7 or 8 years now and im puzzled as to all the negative reviews, most of the staff here are very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing since its right between st paul and minneapolis just off of i-94. Once the light rail goes in youll be able to access either city even more easily. The amenities cant be beat and yes they are functional most of the time. The rent is a little high for most people but you get what you pay for and its a perfect fit for anyone with rental assistance. The exterior of the building is beautiful and the furnishings for the community areas are top notch. I would highly recommend 808 to any U of M students or anyone else looking for the best in amenities/surroundings.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews of this place. In my experience, management has been very responsive to the reasonable requests that I would make. The place is always clean and I'm constantly seeing the staff around the apartment fixing something so they're hard at work. Building security is great...a little too great as I've locked myself out at times. I've been here for more than a year now and am very satisfied with my experience.

This place is great. I've been here for several years and haven't had any of the issues described in the negative comments below. Clearly there has been a trend in the comments, the comments posted a few years ago were consistently negative, now they're consistently positive. They made the right changes to improve whatever was going on a few years ago. The staff is awesome and very attentive. They even take the time to coordinate monthly happy hours for residents with catered food, free drinks, live music, prizes, etc. Maintenance has been extremely responsive. In just about every case I've needed it they've responded within a day and even replaced burnt out light bulbs without that being included in the service request. I know many people who live or have lived here who share my positive sentiment towards the place and its staff.

I've lived here 7 months with my wife and we chose 808 Berry because my wife had lived here during an internship 4 years ago. I don't understand most of the negative reviews either. The only major maintenance issue that lasts any significant amount of time is when the bulb in the projector in the movie room burns out because people don't turn it off properly. Considering it's a difficult and insanely expensive replacement, I understand the lag time. With the exception of that, all other maintenance issues I've had were taken care of the same day. Meg has been doing an awesome job at hosting monthly happy hours to get people out of their apartments and meet each other with free food, music, games, drinks, etc. The work out room is a touch small, but you can usually get on the equipment you want to in fairly short order. We have had no sound issues between apartments as the walls appear to be well sound-insulated. The biggest issue I have with the place is how much pets cost, but even the $300 deposit + 30/month for a cat was in line with most other places in the twin cities. Very happy with my 4th floor apartment.

Love the place itself. Hate some of the staff there. They have no integrity and are manipulative by doing as they please with whom or however they want and nothing much you can do about it. There are plenty of ways to do something like write reviews and compaints to the state. Its such a pretty place. It needs to have a nice staff to go with it. They need to do as they say they will. I seen so many Somalian there. I don't see diversity. Why is that? Some of the staff need to keep TENANTS PRIVACY CONFIDENTIAL, not saying outloud in public or in hallway where everyone can hear about a tenant's situation. That is so UNPROFESSIONAL! I wonder if OWNER or HEADQUARTER OR MANAGEMENT knows about how their staff are handling the property. If they have more honesty, integrity, and respect, they might have better tenants as well. With the way they are handling things, pretty soon this place will only have terrible tenants. It will be a shame to see such a nice place be like north mpls.
