For the most part, it's awesome. THE GOOD: * Thick walls - I've never once heard a neighbor from inside my unit, and I've only very rarely and very faintly heard noise from the neighboring night clubs (not loud enough to hear over white noise, never late into the night, and never longer than a couple of minutes). * The security personnel is courteous and available 24-7. * The place is kept pretty clean and neat no matter how messy the residents can get. The views and the decks are gorgeous. It feels like living in a resort. * Very pet-friendly (still the usual breed restrictions though). * Walking distance to lots of stuff, and lots of places will deliver straight to your room. * Friendly neighbors! The overwhelming majority are polite, courteous, and dressed like humans (in case you're coming from an area like my old one where it wasn't unusual to pass "people of Wal-Mart" on the street). Everyone has real educations and real careers and don't bother each other. I often don't bother locking my door half the time. * Trash chutes just seconds away from your door, so I never have large accumulations of trash, no annoying trash days to remember, and no long walks to take out the trash. * Downtown Orlando is notorious for its bums, and they are everywhere, but I haven't seen any in the immediate vicinity of the building, so I'm able to get in and out without being accosted by beggars. * Tolerance. There doesn't appear to be any overt racism, sexism, or homophobia among the staff or residents, which is always a nice environment to be in. THE BAD: * The train - Or rather, one train in particular. Most of the trains that go by are quick and quiet (speaking from a higher floor, it's probably louder on lower floors). But there is one train driver who deviates from the legally required horn blowing pattern, and instead just crawls by at a snail's pace laying on the horn the entire time without letting up. I don't notice any of the other trains, but that one in particular always wakes me up when it goes by at night. * The dog walk is nice and sufficient, but it would be much nicer if they expanded the area the rest of the way to have an enclosed play area for dogs. It also closes from 10pm to 7am, and not all dogs can hold it that long, and on rare occasion someone seems to forget to unlock the deck until closer to 8. It would be great if they could extend the deck hours to 6am-11pm, or ideally just have it open 24/7 when there's no maintenance. * Obviously the rent rates are astronomical. I pay 4x more for rent here than I pay for the mortgage on my house. I could live in quite a massive and pretentious house at this rate, but I prefer highrise living and can afford it, so I live here. * The 1-bedroom and studio apartments on the lower floors have ugly exposed concrete ceilings that would be an eyesore for me personally, but the 2- and 3-bedroom units aren't like that. * It's not smoke-free. Occasionally someone will get on the elevator after having smoked, making sure everyone else on the elevator stinks as badly as they do. And although it's not an every day thing, it is not uncommon for smokers to ruin the pool deck for everyone else with their toxic aroma and leaving disgusting cigarette butts all over the place (gets cleaned up by staff quickly, but still gross to behold before it does). BOTTOM LINE: This place would get 5 stars from me if they expanded the dog walk, extended the deck hours, prohibited smokers, and fought for us residents against trollish train drivers at 2am who blast their horns way longer and louder than legal regulations require. The rent rate is worth it to stay here for many years if they could work on those issues.

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. I went into the building with my wife to get info about the building. The security guard at the front desk was very rude. Total turn off. I will never rent here!
