Way too expensive for the portions. The layout is confusing. I spoke with 4 different people before I was able to place my order. The staff were unable to follow simple instructions: I ordered two plates of chicken and broccoli rabe and they gave me one plate ... which had me waiting for 20 mins - there was no one in front of me and only 2 people behind me. Overall the experience was unpleasant. I would not recommend it to someone looking to zen out for lunch.

The manager is awesome. The employees are super nice. The food tastes fresh with so many choices to choose from. Its very easy to spend a lot for this place so I usually stick with the burger. I usually don't go to crazy, but the lamb/avocado/mango thing I did was pretty sweet. Its also usually open on holidays and weekends which is a major plus for those who work around the clock in midtown.

Too expensive and WAY to inconsistent. The choices are overwhelming and they just have a poor business model. Will not recommend to anyone. I've given this place over a year of business that is undeserving. BOO.

The food is always excellent, and they're the type of company you want to support. Sustainable, locally sourced, modern and into technology. You can design your own burger online and have it sold to other people in the store! And you earn kickbacks for that!

With a slogan like “de-junking fast food” and a menu that allows you to combine veggie burgers with spinach and pine nuts, mac and cheese, veggie sushi, brussel sprouts and even a wide array of condiments this place sounded like heaven to me. Basically, the concept is they give you these donut shaped burgers (regular, veggie, lamb, pork, salmon, turkey) and you choose what you put in the middle (mac and cheese, spinach and pine nuts, veggie sushi, brussel sprouts, veggie chili, potato and chorizo hash, and more…) then you add condiments, cheese, etc. I got a veggie burger on a bagel with spinach and pinenuts, shitake mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, onion, manchego cheese and hummus. I also got a side of square roots (Idaho potatoes, sweet potatoes & purple potatoes) and a white rosehip iced tea. The total? $12 - not too bad for that amount of food. They also gave us samples of ALL of their iced teas (again - with smiles on their faces - THEY WERE SO NICE). We sat down to wait for our order and I loved that you knew it was ready when they put your name up on the screen - so efficient.

I have a strong aversion to food joints that take on a "healthy twist," but this place was a very pleasant surprise. Didn't expect them to throw me off with their unexpected creations ranging from very tasty meat skewers (e.g., grass-fed beef, turkey, sustainably-raised salmon), their whole circular curly chunks of pancetta, potato chorizo hash, avocado and chili mango, chipotle pepper ... and the list goes on. Try it and see for yourself.

A donut shaped pork hamburger? With pickled peppers, shitake mushroom and sweet chili? Delicious! Create your own mouthwatering combo.

"Weird place - really complicated that allows you to put together your own ""healthy but fast"" food. But it takes almost a herculean effort to go through their many many steps to assemble something that makes any sense. Still, I like what they were going for."
