1st Source Bank will open a new banking center in downtown Kalamazoo this December. Located at 200 West Michigan Avenue, the banking center will feature side-by-side banking, which puts bankers side-by-side with clients instead of behind a teller line.

Spotlight on Community Leadership Award Winner Benito Salazar

Today we recognize our final recipient of the Ernestine M. Raclin Community Leadership Award, Benito Salazar, an Accounts Manager at Steel Warehouse in South Bend. Benito has impacted the lives of many youth over the years through his leadership with La Casa de Amistad, which he helped establish 40 years ago. He has also mentored children as a Boy Scouts Troop Leader. Congratulations, Benito!

Spotlight on Community Leadership Award Winner Loretta Loy

Loretta Loy, owner of Nana’s Creations in Fort Wayne is recognized with the 1st Source Ernestine M. Raclin Community Leadership Award for her creativity and thoughtfulness in sewing more than 3,000 blankets and donating them to area fire stations, schools and other organizations to comfort children in need. Loretta, thank you for being an inspiration for us all!

We are pleased to award George Douglas, General Manager of Indiana Beverage in Valparaiso, with the 1st Source Ernestine M. Raclin Community Leadership Award. George has impacted many organizations, including the YMCA, the Valparaiso Schools Foundation, the Porter County Community Foundation and P.A.C.T. of Porter County, which provides community-based criminal justice programs. Spotlight on Community Leadership Award Winner Beverly Goff

Our next Ernestine M. Raclin Community Leadership Award recipient is Beverly Goff, with Northern Insurance / Goff Agency in Fort Wayne. Through her volunteer service to the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission and Redemption House, Bev has impacted many lives. She has also been active with Greater Fort Wayne, Inc., the American Heart Association and countless other organizations. Thank you, Bev, for all that you do!
