"In the northeastern state of Assam but also across the rest of India, the number of underage couples like Debjani and Chitro is not falling fast enough. Early marriage is especially common among chronically poor, marginalized groups."

This is so disappointing!
That "highest paid women CEO) IS A MAN! (Aka "trans woman").
He got to the top of his business as a MAN, and only then did he transition.
Had he been born a woman, so you really think he would have gotten where he is? He used all that WHITE MALE privilege- but now he's a woman? Where is the real female CEO for my girl to emulate? Or do I have to tell her that MEN WIN- they just put our clothes on afterwards?

UN WHO calls for an end to the "degrading, discriminatory, and unscientific ‘virginity testing' of women and girls,” declaring ‘virginity testing’ a form of gender-based violence, a violation of human rights, and a means of denying women of their rights on a basis of equality with men.

From Madame Curie to Mae Jemison women have been undersung heroes of science for far too long! Buzzfeed is challenging that with its video filled with badass women of science.

What have women contributed to science? Quite a lot actually.

One girl with courage is a revolution.
Introduction
Girl Rising is a global campaign for girls’ education. What began as a groundbreaking feature
film has grown into a thriving movement. Girl Rising unites girls, women, boys, men, companies, organizations, government leaders and foundations who know that educating girls is the smartest investment of our time. When girls are educated, communities thrive and economies grow. Yet 65 million girls are missing from classrooms worldwide, and tremendous opportunities are lost.

Our vision is to see girls around the world complete secondary school at the same rate as boys. We are working towards a future in which girls have the same opportunities as boys to go to school, stay in school and become healthy and productive members of their communities.
