I'm controlling TfL WITH MY MIND. To quote Keanu Reeves: "Whoa."

Look at this GIF long enough and you can make the train change direction simply by thinking about it http://bzfd.it/10eQwyKg

It just dawned on me that I've accrued 126 followers on G+ without even trying.

So — to those of you who regularly use this service and follow me: what content would you like me to post? Or would you prefer me to keep posting mostly nothing whatsoever?

It's the beauty of G+, it's not just people you know. The whole format encourages bigger circles of strangers with shared interests to congregate together. I added a couple of large circles based on my interests, and collectively they basically curate the internet for me, plus I quite frequently learn about things I wouldn't have otherwise known I cared about!

I'm playing Flappy Bird. This game is amazing, it's like Helicopter Game on hard mode.

This is why 3D printed guns don't really worry me.
Forget 3-D-printed guns. Inside a "build party" where anyone can make a rifle that no cop will ever know about.

Pretty cool idea.

Soccket is a soccer ball that generates electricity -- 30 minutes of play can power a lamp for three hours. In developing nations, this simple 'toy' is helping turn lives around. Read more: http://yhoo.it/Z1l4bS #theupbeat

Moved to Greenwich. Missed the first half day of a conference because they didn't update their marker. So much #fail.

Note: as of Jan 10 2011, the actual bank is located ~15 minutes further north on Clapton Common than indicated by the marker. The Stoke Newington branch may be closer if south of Stamford Hill area. Small branch with 3 tellers. Helpful staff, outdated pay-in machine. Very cramped!

Of all the varied coffee places in the Kensington area, the Roasterie is one of my favourites. They generally roast coffee in the afternoons directly in the shop, making the entire neighbourhood smell amazing (At least, if you like coffee.). They also have some of the best espresso I've had in this city and some of the most eclectic decor around. That said, it can get a bit busy and seating space is rather limited. However, they're generally cool with you taking mugs and whatnot to the small plaza area directly outside with its various benches and people doing entertaining things.
