We tracked data over a month at Paper Leaf, and turned it into and infographic. Fun stuff!

I wrote a new post that details how website design is priced. Inside the Black Box of Web Design Pricing: http://buff.ly/1tplQvz
Behind the curtain, explaining the thought process, variables, logic, and math that goes into web design pricing.

I wrote a new post. If you're a designer, writer, marketer etc, you need to understand content:audience fit in order to be effective.
If your content isn't working, the problem is content:audience fit: either your content isn't good enough, or your audience for that content isn't right.

I've learned a lot in the last few years, going from a 2-person shop to a 5-person (and growing) shop. Here's one of the big-ticket learnings.
Your business is a ship. When you had a small ship, you could do it all yourself. But what happens when you find yourself the captain of a larger ship?

Networking sucks and you're probably bad at it. So stop doing it and start helping people instead.
Networking sucks and you're probably bad at it. Don't worry; I was too. Learn why networking doesn't work, and how to change your mindset to get results.

My personal site has been up for a month, and the stats (and takeaways) are surprising.
Get a behind-the-scenes look into the stats, and benefits, from just having a place to write for one month – and why authentic content still works.

We hear so much about conversion rate optimization, building email lists, onboarding and so forth. Here's another angle to think about too.
On patching flat tires, startups and the startup world, lifetime customers, and the value of doing good.

If you're a Mac user, you might find this useful!
Over the years I’ve come to rely on a few Mac menu bar apps each and every day I’m in the office (or at home) – here are the five everyone should have.

Launched my personal site and wrote a post the other week, and forgot to share it on here. I love eReaders, but their type controls are a mess – here are my thoughts on why that is, as well as improving them.
eReader typography is broken – users can unassumingly and mistakenly create typographic monstrosities. Here's how to fix it.

Blurb does work with InDesign, btw! I just checked. It's been a while...

Absolutely. I read eBooks on my old Kindle every day and it's a struggle to read most books. I find it easier to read on my smart phone!
