"The whole time I'm thinking, since it's Funny or Die, that that's where the video will be released, it'll be obvious that it's a joke. But they were so excited with how it turned out, that they made it like a fake company and then kept quiet about it. A lot of the questions and heat was coming down on me because no one was saying anything, and I was waiting for them to say it was a joke. But after three days, I told them I had to say it was fake because no one knew it was Funny or Die, so I was the lightning rod for this whole thing."
The skateboarding legend talks about staying relevant to a young audience and why he had to apologize for Funny or Die's nod to Back to the Future.

"The elements of storytelling are always the same. You're just drawn to a good story, whether a small one or a big one. This one just caught my fancy--I wept at the inspirational efforts of the boys in the film. I had to do it, so we hunkered down and embedded with the boys."
The master documentarian returns with a stylistic departure--a cinema verite-style film that captures a group of boys at a small Vermont school as...

Over the last three years, an anonymous artist has wandered around the streets of New York finding random pieces of trash and turning them into something useful.
Fire hydrants, parking signs, street lights, and other pieces of urban infrastructure can also make city life a little better and more whimsical, with...

Few people really, truly believe they will age until they actually do. It's hard to convince young people to take actions now that will benefit their future senior citizen selves. According to Ideo, studies have shown that when confronted with artificially aged photographs of themselves, young people are more willing to save for retirement or adopt healthier behaviors. http://f-st.co/B3MUGxu

Being able to say "no" is one sign of high emotional intelligence. You can avoid unhealthy habits and otherwise discipline yourself--which also allows for relationship-nourishing, success-engendering non-distraction.
The best salespeople and leaders have a high EQ. Daniel Goleman, the man who coined the term, pulls apart the aspects of emotional intelligence.

Fashion designer Isabella Rose Taylor was eight years old when she attended a sewing camp. Soon after, she started making her own clothes. Her designs drew compliments, then her friends started asking her to sew clothes for them, and just a few months later she held her first trunk show in a local boutique.
Isabella Rose Taylor started designing clothes when she was eight years old, but it was seeking the guidance of an experienced mentor that gave her...

It's an absurd minimalist spectacle-if such a concept can exist- detailed in new light by this promotional video, with commentary by Norman Foster, along with several project leads. Whereas blacktop-laden industrial parks dominated the last 50 years of corporate architecture, Apple's campus is an airy ring in the middle of a nature refuge.
Take a peek inside the development of Apples new spaceship headquarters in this newly released video.

"You fell for our weird psychology experiment and it showed you you're not an actual hideous monster, so where is our Nobel Peace Prize or whatever?"
As Dove's tactics for convincing women they look good get nuttier--a beauty patch, anyone?--the backlash gets smarter and funnier.
