I didn't try any of the food, but the coffee was great and the staff did not rush us out even though we had long finished our coffee. The decor has a warehouse feel, basic but trendy. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, however, one young woman in particular at the cash did not seem to enjoy her job as much as the others.

My friend and I went to Coutume for brunch on a late Saturday morning/early afternoon, and we were surprised with the ease of getting a table; we didn't have to wait at all! The lack of waiting, along with Coutume's relaxed & contemporary atmosphere, were the highlights of this quest for weekend brunch. My friend and I each ordered a delicious hot chocolate (4,50 euros each) and got different brunch plates (see pictures). One thing to keep in mind is that their menu does change, because we went to Coutume with the intention of getting eggs benedict, which they no longer offered. :( I was feeling especially hungry & indulgent so I also ordered a cheesecake slice, but the waitress completely forgot about my order so I had to ask another waitress again about 10 mins later. The cheesecake had a nice taste but was dry (would have been much better if they had some sort of a raspberry sauce with it or something of the sort). If and when you go to Coutume, you can expect the ambience to be great, the food to be good enough (but nothing mind-blowing), the waitresses to be friendly enough, but the service to be somewhat mediocre... so at least the prices aren't over the top (although it's not super cheap either).

Definitely one of the best coffee place in Paris. My favorite place to enjoy a latte - but I also recommend their lunch and their amazing pastries (the carrot cake is just to die for!)

Terrible service and nonsensical policies that are not communicated until ex-post. So I go to this cafe which I saw had high reviews and apparently also have Wifi. I went there with my kids so I could get some work in and enjoy a coffee. After we get there order some drinks, they then come by and tell my young daughter (not to me directly) that we can't use the Internet on our iPad or laptops. Is this passive aggressive behavior or just easy to pick on a young girl than her father? This is outrageous since there are like 5 other people in the place surfing on their smartphones. They tell me phones are ok but not tablets?!? I'm dumbfounded. First the only difference between my iPad and the iPhone is the screen size. What era do these guys live in. They also tell me they don't want people just sitting in cafe and surfing rather just buying lots of their expensive gourmet coffee. Wow. I was stunned. So we decided to leave. When we were leaving and paying the bill, they got that wrong too and tried to sneak in an item (cereal) that I never even ordered. These guys all about maximizing every penny from you and screw all to any good customer service or experience. Never going back.

Cozy cafe with bright and polite staff. Sat down for a quick snack. Had the carrot cake and banana bread along with a latte and cafe noir. Very enjoyable rest between adventures!

Best coffee I've had in Paris: single origins are what coffee should be. Especially for Australians. The home baked goods are worth a try.

This coffee is one of the best hip coffee shops in Paris. Be aware not to take your computer or Ipads, just books are allowed. Nice place to talk and enjoy le cafe du maison

Probably the best place to get a coffee made with love. Well known in Paris but still serving good quality.
